You may locate this document by clicking "Registration" or "Sponsors" followed by "2013 2nd Annual" when the drop down appears. Although you may register your team through NEPScolarshipfund.com, you may complete the paper registration if you wish. If you would like to become a sponsor or make a donation, please complete and return the 2013 Event Registration prior to July 15, 2013.
The Annual Nicholas E. Paganelli Wiffle Ball Tournament
On August 11th, 2012, the first annual NEP Wiffle Ball Tournament was held at Haubner Fields in White Oak, in Nick's memory. The outpouring of support from our community is proof of Nick's positive impact on all that knew him.
Proceeds from the event were used to establish the NEP Memorial Scholarship Fund at LaSalle High School. The money was given to LaSalle as means for a scholarship to a deserving incoming freshman.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone for their support and participation in this event. Without your help, the money generated for this fund would not have been achievable.
In stating this, we are glad to announce the 2nd Annual Nicholas E. Paganelli Wiffle Ball Tournament. Haubner Fields has been generous enough to invite us back for another year. The event will take place on August 3, 2013. Team registration will begin at 10 a.m., Eastern, followed by the tournament beginning at 11 a.m.
At this time, teams may register to participate in the Wiffle Ball Tournament. Please click the "Registration" tab towards the top of the page to begin.
We will be holding a round robin style event, followed by a single elimination tournament. The seeding for the single elimination bracket will take place once the round robin has come to a conclusion. Each team will be guaraneted at least four games.
Like last year, Haubner will be providing cash concessions through out the day. This does include alcohol. We ask that no one brings their own into the event. If you are found to have done so, you will be asked to leave.
Nick’s fun loving attitude and joy for life brought a large group of family and friends to this event last year. We want to thank everyone in advance for making the 2nd Annual Wiffle Ball Tournament an even greater success.
