15th Annual NEP Wiffleball Tournament Rules

                                     2026 Kids Tournament
  • Adult Pitch
    • A player on the team will act as the pitcher after the pitch is thrown if a ball is hit into the field of play
  • Pitcher’s mound is always a force out for the hitter running to first base only
    • Runners already on the base and advancing to another base must be forced out at the base or tagged out
  • 6 players on the field at a time
    • 1 Catcher, 1 Pitcher and 4 Field Players
  • Batting order must stay the same throughout the game
  • Any pitch that goes through or hits the strike zone will be a strike
    • If a pitch hits either of the legs under the strike zone, it will be a ball
  • Count will start at 0 strikes and 0 balls
    • 5 Balls = Walk and 3 Strikes = Out
    • Unlimited Foul Balls
    • Balls hit within the home plate zone will result in a foul
    • Balls intentionally blocked from crossing the plate will be an automatic strike. If on strike 2, it will result in a strike out.
  • Bunting will result in an automatic out
  • Foul ball must be hit above the catcher’s head to consist of a foul/tip out
  • 4 innings per game
  • Maximum game time of 40 minutes (Home team to keep time)
  • 10 run rule after any inning
  • Game will go into extra innings if tied after regulation
  • No stealing or sliding (Will result in an automatic out)
  • Time of play must be called in the infield
    • If time is called in the infield, the runner may not advance more than the base they are running to
    • An out cannot be recorded on the runner advancing to the next base if time is called
  • LAST GAME—Someone, please bring the completed scorecard, clipboard, balls and field container to the Raffle Table (New balls will be provided for single elimination)

PLEASE, NO RUNNING INTO THE FENCE AS IT MAY RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC HOME RUN. UMPIRES WILL MAKE THE FINAL CALL IF THIS OCCURS.  CALL WILL BE BASED ON SEVERITY OF THE INFRACTION.
